On active building sites, delivery sequence is as critical as transit time. Cement must arrive before rebar, insulation after structural work is complete. A delayed truck can stop the installation crew. In our Poland to Latvia project, 12 FTL trucks were delivered over two weeks with each arrival timed to the construction schedule. The same planning discipline applies to single-truck deliveries and multi-stop projects across Germany, Austria and the Benelux.
Palletized materials (tiles, dry mixes): anti-slip mats, steel strapping, moisture film against rain. Rebar bundles: tied and anchored to the flatbed. Insulation and roofing: moisture-protected, transported horizontally. Transport selection: curtainsider or box trailer for palletized loads; flatbed or low-loader for structural elements and non-standard cargo. Tail-lift vehicles available for sites without a forklift.
Standard set: CMR, commercial invoice, packing list. For EU exports, EX declaration; transit routes require T1. EUR.1 when origin proof is needed. Under Incoterms 2020, FCA and DAP are most common. Customs timing is synchronized with the site receiving window from the planning stage to avoid costly waiting time at destination.
