Excavator + 2 Loaders: 3 Low-Loaders from Netherlands to Latvia
A Latvian construction firm purchased a 35-ton excavator and 2 wheel loaders from a Dutch heavy equipment dealer. All three machines exceeded standard transport dimensions. We organized 3 low-loader transports with oversized permits across 4 countries and delivered all equipment within 4 days.
What happened
The equipment was needed for a project starting the following week. The excavator alone weighed 35 tons and was 3.5 m wide - requiring oversized transport permits in Netherlands, Germany, Poland, and Latvia. Each country has different permit procedures and processing times.
What made it difficult

How we handled it

The excavator moved at night through Germany with police escort. The 2 loaders were slightly under oversized limits with boom retracted, simplifying permits. All 3 low-loaders arrived at the construction site on time.
