What goes into one pitch
A single UEFA-standard artificial pitch requires: turf rolls (China or Netherlands), rubber granulate infill, shock-absorbing underlay, drainage system, goalposts with nets, corner flags, line markings, and perimeter fencing. Components come from 3-4 different countries and must arrive at the installation site in the correct order - drainage first, then underlay, then turf, then goals and finishing.
What made it difficult

How we handled it
We developed a standard delivery protocol for a complete pitch kit. Each project gets a delivery timeline mapped to the installation schedule. Sea containers from China arrive at our Riga warehouse for consolidation. European components arrive by road. We then distribute to each site in the correct sequence - drainage materials first, turf last. For parallel projects, we maintain buffer stock in the warehouse to avoid delays.
