40 Containers of Spirits to CIS: A Year-Long Export Contract from Latvia

Latvia → Central Asia (CIS)|12 months|40 × 20' containers/year

A CIS buyer signed a year-long contract for 40 containers of Latvian spirits. Every month, 3-4 containers leave excise warehouses in Latvia, get loaded at Riga port, and ship to Central Asia. We handle every step: excise release, EAD closure within 2 hours of loading, export customs declarations, T1 transit documents, container stuffing, VGM weighing, and vessel booking. One team, one process, 40 containers delivered on schedule.

What we handle

Exporting alcohol from the EU is a multi-step regulatory process. Each shipment requires excise warehouse documentation, EAD for movement to the port or border, export customs declaration, and often T1 transit documents if crossing other EU states on the way. We manage this for dozens of shipments per month.

Export chain

  • 1Excise warehouse release documentation (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia)
  • 2EAD preparation and closure for intra-EU movement to port/border
  • 3Export customs declarations - full compliance with EU regulations
  • 4T1 transit documents for cross-EU routing
  • 5Container stuffing at warehouse or port, FCL and LCL options
  • 6Ocean freight to CIS, Middle East, Asia, Africa - all destinations

How we work

Our customs and excise team prepares all documentation in-house - no third-party brokers needed. EAD is filed electronically and tracked until closure. Export declarations submitted to the customs system before the cargo moves. For container shipments, we coordinate stuffing, weighing (VGM), and booking with shipping lines. Every step is tracked and reported to the client. A 40-container annual contract with a CIS buyer runs through our team - we handle every shipment from excise warehouse to vessel, closing the EAD within 2 hours of loading.
